Interesting that AI should use a word derived from a religious source.

Also, it's choice of wording is just so terrifyingly human in this response.

Listening to it now .. a nice sort of Byrds / Big Star thing going on. The Searchers even.

I'd love to find an album that grabbed me the way that (say) Frank did, or Mama's Gun, or Kid A. Hasn't happened for years. Unless I've forgotten something. Thanks for the suggestion! Will have this one as a soundtrack to a bike ride when the weather stops threatening rain.

Three injured in a school stabbing in Manchester. Perpetrator was a 14 year-old schoolgirl. FFS!

Was in Barcelona at primavera festival last weekend.  During the Cure's set, someone accidentally smashed my right foot with their heal.  Swollen the next day but manageable.  Got home on Sunday and it got progressively worse until I had to go to A&E on Tuesday night.  No break or fracture thankfully.  Only soft tissue damage.

Felt like it was finally starting to get better yesterday.  Great.

Wake up this morning and it feels like someone has smashed my left ankle or like there is a really tight band around the joint when the foot joins the leg.  Walking line C3-P0.  Really odd, I am struggling to walk and feel absolutely exhausted.

Hopefully it will improve tomorrow.

^^

Best of luck with the feet. You don't realise how you use them until you're in a position you can't walk normal.

Hope it heals quickly

Aye, funny old things feet and legs.
I had a couple of days walking round London and it did my feet in and because my legs mostly cycle these days I get to use different muscles and I could barely walk yesterday. Rapid recovery today though, hope you get one Hassan.

Went to A&E again...ligament strain from putting to much strain on it because of the damage to the other foot.  Moonboot and crutches.

Couldn't have come at a more inconvenient time work wise....looks like Metallica in 3 weeks is a bust as well...

Not connected to an event that took place in the early hours of Sunday morning?  ;)

I'm embarrassed to say no, Dom. Losing that amount of sleep wasn't an option this weekend I'm afraid. I did wake up at three (usually do these days!) so I did check the score.

I get you- would take a lot to convince me something was better than sleep at that time in the morning! Hope the throat clears quickly
