Wow! BBC not even trying to hide their bias on Football Focus today. Piling into the poor Hearts, no penalty theme being produced by non-journalists at an industrial scale, despite evidence existing to the contrary.

I thought this level of propaganda only existed north of Hadrian's but the disease has spread apparently.

Football results don't affect my life in any way, but I worry that if this is how media and broadcasters behave about trivia, what are we being fed about things which actually matter?

For the first time ever I find myself more interested in a Scottish League game than the English FA Cup Final.

I'm not grumpy about that per se, it's more of a deep pang of nostalgia for the times when the FA Cup Final was one of the most eagerly anticipated days in the football calendar (and I was lucky enough to attend a couple of them in the 80s).
