Agreed, stick it out mate. I've always found in life that things tend to work out - call it fate if you want and I'm sure one day you'll wake up and it will all be well. Working in the RAF I often came across complete knobs, but I learnt early on that one day either they'd be posted - or I would.

I understand what you're going through and it would be drive me mad too, but please try not to let it get to you too much as then they've won. Be positive and know that you are a way better person than they are.

Yes, I hope she makes a quick recovery and you get her back today, Nop. It's such a worry when our folks get older. When we're young falling seems to be an everyday occurrence, almost instantly forgettable, but increasingly hazardous as we age.

thanks guys, went rather quick. I received a call to come pick her up, so I did. She's OK now, bit startled and very tired.
Seems her blood pressure has been fluctuating a bit, so falling or - sort of - fainting certainly fits with that. She's at home now, resting.
