Do you need a dvd player these days? I have a blu ray player that plays dvd's, not played a dvd for years, I only use it for blu ray albums.

Actually I think it is a BluRay player now I think about it. But it only ever gets used for the other half's fitness DVDs, and then only rarely.

In a particular foul mood. Went to the hospital, they took the cast off. I tried but could not stand on the foot, but because they feel the 'rest of the foot and ankle' might be adversely affected when left on too long, I got sent away with the advise to wear sturdy shoes.
I can't even get my foot in a shoe it's so swollen! I feel taking 3 steps back because I walked in without crutches, and now I am on crutches again. That, combined with the hellish temperature and the fact I have been waiting for a parcel that seems fallen off the face of the earth, explains my mood.

I will now go and sulk, and not mention football.

I live in fear of being scammed, so when helping my sister sort out an EV charging app (Citicharge) today, I noticed two spelling mistakes in their blurb about billing. Authourisation twice.

 I realise it's probably just due to ignorance or poor translation somewhere along the line, but it drives me mad. Giving someone your credit card details when their worldwide app is so sloppy gives me the fear.

Edit: Also I'm suffering really badly with sciatica at present having being doing too much heavy DIY recently. I can only sit for a few minutes at a time as the pain in my hip quickly becomes unbearable and my entire left leg goes numb. Visited the GP a few months back and he referred me to a physiotherapist. After being on the waiting list for a few weeks the guy spent barely five minutes with me and sent me off with a printed exercise sheet.
