Hooray! BT starts to rollback DEI initiatives. They've been absolutely obsessive about this s**t for quite a few years now, perhaps they'll decide to put all their effort into providing telecom networks and improving the dire state of the share price at last.

After putting it off for way too long my wife and I eventually sorted out our Lasting Power of Attorneys on line - two each, one for financial and one for health and welfare. Quite straightforward really, just have to get all the signatures/witnesses done now which have to be done in an explicit order. £82 each though, so £328 all in - though I'm sure a solicitor would charge much more. It's a relief to get it done at last

Getting out in the garden in the Spring sunshine. Dismantled old bbq, dug over a few beds and even managed to pressure wash the patio. Can feel it now though, aching all over.

Listening to Close to the Edge and hearing Rick's Organ playing reminded me of last Saturday.

Trying to do touristy things in Birmingham, we paid a visit to the Catholic Cathedral. Quite an unprepossessing brick building from the outside, but a triumph of Pugin's neo-Gothic work inside.

The real pleasurable bit though, was somebody was playing the Organ. There's something about a well played Organ that reaches deep into the soul, those deep resonant bass notes. Quite magical.

Trying to do touristy things in Birmingham, we paid a visit to the Catholic Cathedral. Quite an unprepossessing brick building from the outside, but a triumph of Pugin's neo-Gothic work inside.

The real pleasurable bit though, was somebody was playing the Organ. There's something about a well played Organ that reaches deep into the soul, those deep resonant bass notes. Quite magical.

Of course those church organs have large pipes, that helps a lot, especially when played with.
