After a day yesterday when we didn't get anywhere near the amount of rain forecast, it made up for it today!
Thought I might get out on my bike late this afternoon, but just thinking about it was enough to trigger some massive thunderstorms.

Started to rain just now but I've never seen anything quite like it .. huge raindrops but spaced out a few feet apart. Really odd. And in bright sunshine.

Yep, 30+ yesterday, today and tomorrow. Hopefully Friday it'll come down into the 20s again, unbearable.

Been to Majorca loads of times over the years but these first couple of days have been utterly baking hot.. never known it soo warm..

The hottest place I've ever been to, a least when I was there, is New York. Got off the plane, 38 degrees. Air conditioning everywhere in that city, fortunately.

Well, on the north coast of Rhodes it's 32C, but with an official "feels like" temperature of 41C.

However, there's a lovely moderate sea breeze taking the edge off.

So when you're relaxing with a cool drink and an ice cream it feels closer to 32 than 41, whereas if you go on a walk by way of a reccie, as I did earlier today, the reverse is true - the sweat was cascading off me.
