Self diagnosed myself with Intermetatarsal Bursitis.

Probably caused whilst using another bike whilst my usual steed is in for service. See if it affects my riding.

What do I know. Most probably was some sort of cyst which had obviously burst next time I looked at my foot.

I had bursitis in my elbow region, I had it diagnosed at a walk-in NHS place during a Hartlepool about 12 years ago. They prescribed some antibiotics but I thought I'd give it a day or two to start healing before I took them. It did, so I didn't take them.

I'm visiting Canada later in the year. Wife informed me that I need an Electonic Travel Authorisation (eTA). OK. So I googled 'canada visa eta' .

First hit:

Good. So I went through the forms, address, passport details etc until I was asked for $147.

That's odd .. wife claimed it cost her $7.

So I went on the official Canada government site and followed links from there. Did the forms, paid $7, approval came through a few minutes later.

So there are sites out there, well supported by Google, that will scalp you for $140 as a middle-man for getting a visa to Canada.

Yes, same for the USA as well and their ESTA's.

2 cancelled ferries later and still not on Arran..

King Charles has inaugurated a new footpath stretching around the entire coast of England.
At 2,689 miles long, it is the longest managed coastal walking route in the world, according to Natural England, the government body which created it.
Its name is quite a trek too - King Charles III England Coast Path - but for the first time it creates a continuous trail, allowing walkers to explore England's shoreline step by step.

A great footpath but wtf they naming it  after that cunt..

This is a watch reviewer whose videos I watch occasionally. About four minutes in he mentions that his grandad was born in 1960. Apparently I'm literally the same age as a bloke with a beard's grandad.

Not so much today, but something that had been dragging me down very badly this last five days.

Last Saturday night I glanced out of my stair window around 10.30pm. I'm so fortunate to live in a lovely peaceful area with never a hint of trouble all these years. I couldn't believe my eyes. A group (a large one) of youths were running full speed uphill on our road. I assume they were of the decent variety and were soon afterwards followed by a chasing group.

I don't know what possessed me, but I went out to the front garden to demand they pack it in. My sister was horrified at my action and got me back inside as soon as she could, not before I received several insults from the the remaining part of the group with the threat of "do you know who're your dealing with?", ringing in my ears.

My behaviour was ridiculous, and I noticed one of them run past the house again as I closed the front door, chucking a handful of gravel at the door and windows as he disappeared in the direction he had arrived from.

I was in a bit of a state. I'm 66, with a heart condition, bad back and double vision. What was I thinking? Any one of them could have done me real harm. My bottle of wine that night is no excuse for such irrational behaviour.

The doorbell camera picked some of this up but obviously it's not brilliantly clear so reporting the incident would be of no comfort.

I suppose it's a couple of weeks of just hoping that I don't receive a brick though the window or worse. Idiot that I am.

If they had put it to a public vote we'd only have come up with
Pathy McPathface.

Dentist visit. Not the visit itself, the outcome. Going back in tomorrow morning at 9AM to see the dental hygienist, gums are inflamed.

Anyway, having had bad teeth since being a child, I a m now at a point something drastic needs to happen. Especially the lower jar, I am missing 5 molars, 2 have been extracted already, 3 still have the root in there. So..fixing this is either implants, or a prostetic, metal framed partial denture.

I'll be getting a cost indication for both, the first being approx. 8000 EUR, the latter 2K. pffff, not looking forward to this.
Besides the money, I am mainly not looking foreard to the work when I choose implants. Might go for the frame, can always go for implants in a few years if I want to.

Oh yeah, some crowns need replacing as well, and some rootcanals are leaking. So fun times all around.

Fingers crossed for you, though I doubt these scrotes will even remember you.

Mrs S holding me back from giving someone a good twatting  >:(

We'd gone to Tesco and when we got out of the car someone came by on a Motorbike weaved through parking spaces and drove over a zebra crossing before parking up. I wanted a word, to ask why he was riding round like a selfish twat, but as I say she pulled me back. The scumbag probably couldn't hear what I shouted at him as he disappeared into Greggs. Hope he fucking chokes.

There's a PSPO in the Tesco car park because it attracts these selfish twats on motorbikes and in Hot Hatches who drive around like cunts.
