Not sure where this will be appropriate, grumpy, or did it make my day?

At this moment it feels like Iran has Schrödinger's Supreme Leader.

Married at First Sight Australia has started - that's any decent TV watching gone for me for the next 40 1+ hour episodes. 1 down, only 39 to go.

Usually around that time I start picking floral arrangements for the funeral.

Finding out we get a UCI World Cup Cyclocross race in the UK this year - but it's in bloody Glasgow  :(

Hadn't been to Glasgow before 2023, this will make 5 times - 4 of them to watch cycling!

The staff working from home situation has got to be contributing to this insanity. Communication is dreadful, sometimes non-existent. I paid the council £25 in November to have a mattress taken away. It took nearly three months and half a dozen phone calls for it to happen.

Our council are set to announce a 10% increase in council tax for the coming year and yet services are being drastically reduced or money spent in the wrong way.

They're paying wardens to patrol residential areas to fine any car owners when their car is parked slightly on the pavement. We did this for decades here without a single issue, and now neighbours are at each other's throats as we can only park on one side of the road and there are not enough spaces to go around.

Why does no one listen anymore and when they have a bad idea just put their hands up and say sorry?

We missed the fortnightly garden rubbish bin removal this week as the permit paid for three weeks ago only arrived this morning.

Incompetents and wage stealers!

There's a reason my council is often referred to as "Calderfail". ::)

People shouldn't be allowed to take driving lessons until they prove they can walk about safely in busy public areas.

Suddenly stopping in entrances for no apparent reason, walking backwards, changing direction without looking, texting while walking, all examples of behaviour I'm pretty sure transfers over to their driving habits.

I was only out for about half an hour this morning.

Was it always like this?

I usually enjoy summer but am not looking forward to the wasp season if they are this grumpy this year.
