Can't sponge his security detail off UK tax-payers so he's flipped straight to attempting to leech off his estranged but obscenely wealthy and elderly father - before it's too late.

For someone who constantly whines about the preciousness of his privacy, he sure seeks out a lot of "exclusive interviews" for performative self-pity in public when it suits.

Back from a weeks business sojourn in the USA, every flight delayed and the worst food I have ever eaten, plus Americans.

Yes, they can be unpleasant but they've underwritten your security for years.

Needs to think about his PR advisers more than his security detail, I think.

It's more than grumpy - today May the 4th is remebrance day in the Netherlands. It is mainly instated for WW2 victims, but has grown into a memorial day for all victims during wars.

Now, today, after knowing what I now know, it is extra difficult. I am working on a long form post, even though it is a lot more than that, that I hope to be sharing soon about family histories. It has a lot to do with that.

This does my nut in: ignorant woman sitting across from me on the train one of those people who insists on having a phone call where she's talking at the phone rather than into it and having the speaker on at a ridiculous volume so everyone on the carriage can hear the whole two-way conversation.  Fortunately it was mercifully brief but I was close joining in...  ::)

Don't get me going about ignorant people on trains. Just calmed down after yesterday's trip from Shrewsbury to Birmingham. Why don't some people have a volume control?

Yes, and why can't they just put the phone to their ear and speak discreetly instead of being a tedious, attention-seeking twat?  >:(

Sound advice.

Sometimes I feel people do not need phones, they can just open the window. The rest of the world will hear them like that.

Two young riders killed in horrific 11-bike crash at Oulton Park at the weekend. As a fan of motorcycle sport you get to appreciate the danger and risks involved when witnessing motorcycle sport trackside but rarely is the result of a crash so devastating.
It is unbelievably tragic that it's the second time the girlfriend of one of the riders has seen her partner die in a race.
RIP Shane Richardson and Owen Jenner.
