And Pogi wins his first race in his second World Champs jersey. Strolling to win in the Tre Valli Varesini. I don't think he was going to be there, but after last years' race got rained off he told the organisers he'd be back.

Cross Season is well underway now.

First round of the World Cup today, good win for Old woman Lucinda Brand and very good win for Thibau Nys.
Ride of the day was from Cameron Mason, dropped to last on the opening Start/Finish straight and managed to get back to 9th.

First World Cup win for Aniek van Alphen today in Flamanville. Oh, Lucinda Brand wasn't there...

Second World Cup win for Thibau Nys, Cameron Mason finishing on the podium in third after another bad start. Nys is sitting out next week in Sardinia, could be good for Cam if he's going.

MvdP's back! Close run thing though, Thibau Nys's mistake on the last lap cost him. MvdP made his mistakes early on and had time to come back.

In the women's another win for Lucinda Brand, but my favourite Ginger could only come fourth on her return to CX

3/3 for MvdP now. Not even Laurens "Sandman" Sweeck could get close. And WvA failed to make the podium yesterday thanks to a front flat.

Meanwhile Lucinda Brand just carries on winning. It'll carry on with FvE taking indefinite leave from cycling.

Quite frightening really how long MvdP has been riding and how successful. In his pre-race interview he said how he couldn't remember Gavere bring that dry for 15 years and he's not 31 yet!

Looking back he won the Men's junior race there in 2011 with WvA in fourth. In the Men's elite Sven Nys was 9th and of course his son Thibau was 2nd today.
