Congrats - so she has not buried you under the patio yet
Thanks - and I haven't done the same to her...

Nah! His debit card must still be good for another couple of Michelin slap-ups.

I don't know, it's making funny "sizzling" noises when I use it now...

US entertainment giant Disney cancel £10m/episode Dr Who(ke). I'm going to assume that the BBC will be among the last to learn the lesson.

Despite being told my knee replacement wouldn't be until Autumn next year, I've just had a call to tell me it will be 13 December this year. It means driving to Shropshire and back a couple of times beforehand and as the op is at 0730 I'll have to book a hotel there the night before. So not a bad wait in the end. I'll be laid up over Xmas though - which could turn out to be a good thing  ;D

The Andrew formerly known as Prince.

Mr Mountbatten Windsor. That's amazing. Can't deny I'm delighted, as one who'd like to see these ridiculous titles removed from every last one of these entitled clowns but I must admit, Andrew is a special level of loathsome.

Hah - f***ing - Hah! It's almost as satisfying to think of the effect this will have on his loathsome ginger ex-wife who's spent years defending the despicable man.

This was in the news here as well of course. Monarchies et al.. But I understand correct he is stripped from his title, and his villa but still gets to live rentfree on a estate owned by his brother?

I may have missed it but was he ever tried in a court of law?

Mr Mountbatten Windsor hasn't actually been found guilty of any offence, but the smell of controversy around him by now is just too powerful. Important to note that it's Charles who has done this, not the state, not the government. Presumably as a damage limitation exercise (ie in the interest of limiting reputational damage to the monarchy).

I see, is he expected to be indicted?
Priviliges aside, the court of public opinion is a strong one. From what I read it certainly feels like he has not been putting up much of a fight - perhaps due to his former priviliges - and he is lying low in the hopes this will go away.
Just curious, everyone fell ver each other to go after the big names (Ep- and Weinstein most prominent), is all that is missing a smoking gun here?
