Got to say, the editing during that guitar solo, which I was so looking forward to seeing, is absolutely atrocious.

Yes the editing on the solo is poor but on the the brighter side Lifeson's hair looks great

Just noticed the band's music videos for DEW etc have been remastered. Why bother? They were dreadful and I don't think I liked them even at my most obsessional stage. Time Stand Still is mortifyingly awful.

Just listening to the original GuP now, sounds fine to me. But will be interested to hear a remix.
Themost striking thing for me will always be the intruction to Electronic drums in Rush. Neil used it moderately, and really as part of his 'regular' toolkit.

Yes, Time Stand Still was/is worthy of a Grammy for the song and a Razzie for the video.  It must be highest ranking song in music history for the inverse proportionality of the artistic merit of song vs. accompanying video.

Love this treatment. Somehow it all sounds a lot more 'grown up'. I love the sibilance in some of Geddy's vocal. Shoulders definitely sounds plural now and the cymbals are gorgeous. What a wonderful vocalist he was and the reason I fell in love with the band.

Sorry to say I don't like it much, to me it sounds flatter. I don't like what he's done to the vocal near the beginning. I A-B-ed them, the original won for me. A bit more lively and natural.

It is more compressed for sure, which makes the dynamics suffer. I don't really mind. I also think these things are a bit of a non discussion:
Both mixes exist next to each other.
