Cheering on the Boys in Green here. Additional interest as Jack Taylor used to play for Barnet, joined as a 14 year old and stayed 7 years with the club

Why was the winning penalty-taker wearing a bra?

Friendly game against Ecuador. 23 mins in it's 1-1 with one own goal and one penalty.
1 yellow for Ecuador and one red (!) for us.

So much for friendly  :o

The bottom five in the Premier League have all played 32 games, and Tottenham are in the bottom three. It's a stretch to think they'll be there at the end of the season though, isn't it?

Would be nice for the Lincoln City away fans to have a stadium like that to visit in their first season back in the second tier since 1961, though.

There's one game day left in the National League, which has one automatic promotion place, and 2nd placed Rochdale are at home to leaders York City; Rochdale must win the game to be crowned champions.

There was an interesting counter-intuitive scenario with two game days left: York could have gained two points and won the league, or could have gained three and finished second.

Now they need only one for a return to the football league.

Astonishing that both clubs have managed over 100 points. If York lose they will be heading to the playoffs with 107 points, tough on the club I know you're not particularly fond of Matt.

Rochdale must be kicking themselves that they lost 4 2 to relegated Morecambe at the beginning of the Month

Anyone watching PSG Bayern?

Football on s different level to anything I've seen this season. A real joy.

This really should be the final!

What a match this turned out to be. York got the draw they needed with a 102nd minute equaliser after Rochdale thought they'd secured the win and promotion after scoring in the 94th minute.

After York finished 2nd - 13 points clear of Forest Green last season, it would have been really tough on them to miss out again. Hopefully Rochdale can stir themselves and get promotion through the play offs

Headed over to London on Saturday to watch Barnet's last home game of the season. What a treat! Barnet won 6 2 after being 3 1 ahead on 15 minutes and 5 - 1 at half time.

Callum Stead amazingly scored 5, the first player in English professional football to do so since Aguero in 2015.

He was subbed towards the end of the game and received a massive standing ovation from the 3,500 present including a large contingent of otherwise very pissed off Gillingham fans.

Adam Senior, who Barnet acquired off us (and probably doubled his wages in doing so), has done very well for them - I believe he was Young Player Of The Year this season.

Yes a regular at centre back who frequently finds himself in more advanced positions than you'd expect. Good eye for goal too.

Interesting about the wages. I don't think that the bees wage bill is particularly high in league 2 standards. Not sure how much they increased following promotion

It was a terrible season overall, but with one more game to go Feyenoord has secured the 2nd spot in the league which means Champions League next year  :)
