Now angry at the way I was treated by EE TV today and will investigate ways to cancel my contract with them.

Called to check if there was any update on the failure in my area. Kept the conversation friendly and civilised throughout. I enquired if I would receive an automatic refund for the inconvenience of losing TV until this coming Friday at earliest. Received a flat no in response. The reason given was I can still receive apps on my own LG smart TV. She was made aware earlier in the conversation that I knew how to do this myself.

Her parting shot was "I've offered to guide you through the workings of your smart TV and you have refused. Do you agree with that?"

An underhand, dirty tactic, straight from a script when I had been nothing but friendly. Disgusting. Now I know they are untrustworthy and I'll be surprised if the problem resolves by Friday.

We were supposed to be getting our downstairs loo refurbished this week. We specifically wanted this week as our son and his wife are on their holidays and we'd intended to drop around there while the work was in progress. We got quotes in March and decided to use the same guy that did our bathroom and en-suite. My wife had been messaging him about choices of tiles etc. but after a text half way through May we didn't get reply. We weren't too bothered because he can be a bit scatty. Anyway, last week we started to get concerned as he went completely off grid. No replies to texts, whatsapps etc. My wife rang him and I rang him - nothing. So that's it, he completely fucked us over. I can't forgive him unless he's died or been committed as anything else is inexcusable. Even if something has happened he should at least let us know. A quick text would take seconds. What really hurts though is that we've put lots of work his way after recommending him to people we know. Obviously he will only get negativity from us now and we intend to leave reviews wherever we can. Git.

I've just received an awful phone call. When it rang it came from the guy who was supposed to be doing this work for us. Thing is, it wasn't him. Instead it was one of the guys who used to work with him. He had passed his phone off to this new guy and he told me that in May he took his own life. I feel really bad now, horrible news. I know he had some mental health issues. but I never thought they would lead to this. Turns out he passed his work phone off so there could be work for this other, new guy to take on if he wished - hence the call. Fuck.

So true, and with mental health care now commonly on a self-referral basis, really vulnerable folk can be on a waiting list for months. Doctors only have time to juggle with SSRI types and dosages, but it's no substitute for one-to-one help on an ongoing treatment. Tragic.

Dreadful night after second shingles jab yesterday. Feel really bad today and worse than after the first one which seems odd. Heat not helping. Worth it i suppose.

It'll get better mate, I have a neighbour that caught the bug and she never fully recovered. Better safe than sorry.

i've had Shingles and didn't find it too bad, I heard people say it was 8/10 on a pain scale,I'd say about 3 and I have low pain tolerance!
Mind my dad got opthalmuc shingles and that was bad.

Turned up at Naples airport in plenty of time to get through EES aa heard it cancelled bad, got through quicker than I've ever done anywhere and now plane is delayed

Well, I missed most of Blood Incantation, people were only let in slowly, then I wanted an a event T Shirt, Queue was massive and my size had sold out - got to fatten up for an XXL now...
Grumpiness I can find it
