We've booked a motorhome pitch at a campsite (at a pub!) to watch a stage of the Tour of Britain next month. We will be staying at Ridgmont in Bedfordshire and will hopefully be able to catch the (Milton Keynes to Ampthill) stage in more than one location by using the mtbs from the site. The finish is just a few miles down the road. Should be fun.

No surprise, Kooij is the strongest sprinter there.

And Olav Kooij has been added to the Startlist for the Tour of Britain, hoping to add to the four stage wins he got in 2023.

Paul Lapeira won today's stage of the Tour de Pologne, came from nowhere after Kwiatowski had tried setting up Magnus Sheffield and failing miserably - Victor Langelotti was INEOS's best rider in third, also coming from nowhere.

I'm sure in past years that Discovery+ have shown the Vuelta a Burgos, but not this, maybe they've swapped it for the Tour de Pologne as I don't recall watching that before. Anyhoo, Roger Adria won the first Burgos stage.

In transfer news Dylan Groenewegen has left the World Tour and joined Unibet Tietam Rockets, bit of a coup for them.

I read that about Groenewegen, good for TdT. Boost for the profile and Groenewegen has won (and earned) enough. Pro Cycling teams are getting better and better as well.

Remco jumping ship and joining Bora. Roglic must be over the moon...

Win for Ben Turner in the Tour de Pologne today. Funny old stage after it got neutralised after several riders crashed into a ditch. Took out Paul Lapeira the Yellow jersey. No change to GC positions.

Matteo Moschetti won in today's Vuelta a Burgos atage for Q36.5

Tour de l'Ain still ongoing, will catch up with that.

Good finish to Stage 1 of the Deutschland Tour today. Matt Brennan just getting by Jonathan Milan. Longest wait for a photo-finish I've known in cycling, but ended up not being the closest.

I think that makes Brennan the winningest [sic] sprinter in the World this year.

And Olav Kooij doubled it up for Visma by winning stage 2 of the Renewi Tour

Yes, our sort of National tour. It's never been very good.

In other news: the Vuelta starts tomorrow ;D

MvdP Renewi tour. Of course.

Of course - just watched on catch up.
Decent ride by Alfred Brockwell Wright - love your Sunday name Fred.

Riley Sheehan lost today's Deutschland Tour stage by celebrating too early.

Jasper not even at 100% by the looks of it. There to win the stage and pick up the red.

Bring on the climbing, this is not very exciting to be honest.

Nickslikk2112

Jasper Philipsen starts the Vuelta like he did the Tour.
Ethan Vernon pluckiest Brit in second.

Bit of a dull stage for a Vuelta stage. Get it back in Spain for the madness :)
