Breakaway day today. Bur only one of the breakaway - Wacko Jacko - made it to the end as a second breakaway formed on a descent.Then again a couple of others made it to the end, but they're not on my cycling radar. Thought they had been dropped.

A day for Cyclocross with young Célia Géry taking the stage and old woman Lucinda Brand getting second.

AvdP survived a big crash, but made it back, might have spent too long behind a team car though. We'll see.

Pluckiest Brit Josie Nelson in 9th. Or maybe Millie Couzens, it's just flipped on PCS.

Modern Adventure Pro Cycling got their first ever Pro level GC win in the Ethias Tour de Wallonie.

Won by Kiwi Ben Oliver. Team was set up by George Hincapie - former Lance team mate - and this is their first season. Nasty crash at the end, for the second time this race.

Shortened stage today due to threat of an icefall.

Demi Vollering took the win and beought back 15 seconds on AvdB, but it would have been interesting to see how it
would have played out otherwise. They'll be going hammer and tongs on tomorrow's stage now.

Pluckiest Brit Lauren Dixon seventh.

Operation Grund and Pound from Demi Vollering got her the Maglia Rosa. Went on the final climb and that was that. A full set of Grand Tour jerseys now.

Antonia Niedermaier managed to move up to second overall.

ELisa Longo Borghini won the final stage, but of she couldn't make mincemeat of a shrimp like Niamh Fisher-Black there's something wrong.

Once again Lauren Dickson was the pluckiest Brit in 8th. Vollering owes her a pint.

Thankfully Hype Boy wasn't trying to win all stages of the Criterium de Dauphiné, deigning to let Alex Baudin take the biggest win of his career.

Plucky Brit Oscar Onley managed to sneak a 12 second gap over his GC rivals.

WvA wasn't in good shape after crashing his TT bike in training last Monday and Joao Almeida was just there to make up the numbers on his return from illness.

Back to the Critérium du Dauphiné and Captian America Alexi Lalas, I mean Quinn Simmons took the win for the breakaway. Just holding off the Peleton by 4 seconds.

Hype boy lost a bit of time yesterday in the TTT won by Visma. Could possibly have lost more if Ineos hadn't waited for Oscar Onley - something which Kevin Vauquelin wasn't happy about.

WvA won today's stage of the Dauphiné in the bunch sprint at the Parc des Wazzers.
Hugo Hofstetter was visibly upset to come in second, giving his handlebars a good pounding.

WvA a DNS today. Sore elbow, but he got his stage win.

Massive breakaway today gives young Aussie Luke Tuckwell takes over the Yellow Jersey, his team amte Maxim Van Gils took the stage.

Hype Boy and Del Toro came in together.

I thought Oscar Onley had choked big time, but just heard Matteo Jorgenson say he'd crashed.

Dislocated shoulder for Onley yesterday and broken clavicle for Josh Tarling, both riders only ever seem ot have bad luck.

Isaac del Toro won today's syage up the hard side of the Grand Colombier. Juan Ayuso looked like he'd get it from a long range hit out, but probably went to early.

Hype boy finally had a crash and had to use up all his team and then judicious team car use to get back on.If I were him I'd have ignored my hype and taken the final climb more steadily, he's 19, put it down to experience.

Luke Tuckwell stays in Yellow but lost about two minutes of his lead.

Might even have been better quitting then, he climbed off today. Seems as if nearly half the field hasn't finished, lots of crashes, illness and "political" quitting.

Isaac del Toro won today's Dauphiné stage and took the overall and best young rider. He's won more races than Pogi in the past year.

Luke Tuckwell held on to secure second spot on the podium ad Juan Ayuso moved up to third.

Under the radar star of the week Lars Craps coming in 14th overall.

Also today Paula Blasi won the Tour des Pyrénées Feminin.

Kasper Haugland won Stage 1 of the Giro Next Gen - by 1 second after being in the break with a lead of nine minutes!

Jasper Philipsen won the Copenhagen sprint, big crash took out over half the field and the breakaway nearly got the win - after being away for 220km.

Now got to watch the GP Gippingen and the Muur Classic Geraardsbergen...

Never seen that before. Liam Slock started celebrating his first Pro win in the GP Gippingen before the line and he crashed, thought he'd lost it, but just slid over the line before Alexander Vlasov finished.
