Speaking of Moustaches Vingegaard's is crap.

Hats off to Valgren, what a magnificent comeback after which a terrible period. He broke nearly every bone in his body, take a bow Michael!

Leknessund must be the unluckiest rider in this Giro.

Nickslikk2112

Looked like a breakaway stage today. It was a breakaway stage.
Well done Michael Valgren.
Narvaez back in Ciclamino, couldn't make it to the finish to get more points though.

In honour of the stage finish in Andalo, I have composed a few lines:

Long ago,
outside a dive bar in Andalo
I chucked up my guts on Stock Brandyo
It was on a School Ski Trippio!

A Fool was I,
Nearly drank enough Stock to die.
A full bottle became dry,
You'll never know until try.

Puking away forever
Puking's not very clever!
Andalo
Puking puts you in danger
When you ouke on every stranger
Andalo

I need to remember to ask you to write a few words for my eulogy.

He must have seen this, it's gone :)

Nice to see James "I'm not from Derby" Shaw in the breakaway today. Don't see him on local roads now he's at EF

Nickslikk2112

Another win for Magnier, who takes the Ciclamino back. Milan needs a Jasper Stuyven.

Birthday boy Ben Turner pluckiest Brit in 11th.

During the race nice to see Vingegaard have a word with Adam "Moto Man" Blythe to explain all of Visma's bike changes - swapping one chainring bikes for two chainrings.

Thenop

Interesting finale today, some breakaways, the 12% incline near the end. And still sprinters managed to survive.

Well done Stuyven, Oh and Magnier did the last few meters by himself.

Which is what sprinters do :)

Narvaez Abondoned.

Valgren Did not start - he's off to do the tour

James "Look duck, I'm from Nottingham" DNS, surely he's not doing the tour as well?

Nickslikk2112

Ciccone now owns the jersey he's wearing.

They need to speed up, I've got to get ready to go out and see Kraftwerk in an hour...

Nickslikk2112

Ciccone's anger at not getting the full set of mountain points at the penultimate climb couldn't propel him to the finish.

Full set of Grand Tour stage wins foe Sepp Kuss now. Ciccone managed to come in third.

Jai Hindley knocks Arensman off the podium.

That was a fun - and brutal - day.

Thenop

Well done Sepp, and Gee coming in second.

Seems the Trek boys are a bit at odds, in the end impulse control deprived Giulio wasn't man enough to win it, or even beat the Canuck.
I'd like to hear the conversation over dinner served by Lidl tonight.

Pity Arensman fell just short, maybe next time.

Nickslikk2112

Ciccone was just annoyed by Einer Rubio taking maximum Mountains points. I don't think he was expecting to get the final set. He's a bit of a hot-headed loose cannon - and that's why we like him :)

Nickslikk2112

And Ciccone gets the Maglia Azzura.

And a gratuitous cycling pic from last night.

Looks like Vinegarad has sealed the Maglia Rosa, barring disaster.
Felix Gall in second.
Jai Hindley to get a full set of Giro podium positions.

Egan saved Arensmans's Bacon to keep him in fourth.

Eulalio kept going well this week. Secured his jersey.

Not sure if any plucky Brits are left in the race... (Well, Turner, Swift and Mark Donovan, maybe Bob Donalsson)
