I admit it. I mostly visit this thread to discover on a daily basis my level of ignorance about things musical, but I must listen to this.

^^I love finding new music. Some if it is average, but now and again a real gem pops up. I just keep an eye out on Progressive Archives and see what others are playing/recommending and try them out myself. My favourite album from last year was Infringement - Black Science and White Lies. You may want to try that one too, it's brilliant and I still keep popping it on now and again and I actually bought it on CD lol.

Another vinyl night this evening at The Venue in Witney.

First up, Don Henley - The End Of The Innocence (an album I've always loved)
Second album was FM's Indiscreet. Never heard a thing by them before (to my knowledge). Fairly formulaic AOR that falls between Journey and Asia. Shades of Aldo Nova in there too. Some good tunes but hasn't aged particularly well IMHO.

A couple of oldies today - I like looking for new music (to me), but now and again it's nice to reminisce:

Emerson, Lake & Palmer - Tarkus (LP, 1971)
