Hailstones clattering off the window sills earlier this afternoon.

Another night of resisting switching the heating on. Wee cat stuck on my knee all night looking for a heat. It's June 12th. What's going on? At primary school the teacher would be buying the kids a surprise ice cream about now.

Maybe it's a fading memory thing but I don't remember being this cold back then.

False memories. You're in Chilly Jockoland FFS!!!!

In my youth I used to go and watch Derbyshire County Cricket Club a lot, or rather I didn't because it was always pissing it down. They even had a day snowed off in June one year, 1975 I think.

I left primary school in 1972. It was permanently sunny in June up until then. Monsoon season as soon as the school holidays started though.

Looking out the train window over the rooftops this morning if it wasn't for the leaves on the trees it could have been a February scene.

I wonder if the seasons are now gone for good.

Thenop

It's 34 degrees over here, not exactly February. I hate it, can't really go outside, it is too warm.
Of course, 3 days ago it was 18 degrees so we didn't get much of a, ehm, warm up period either.

Slim

Stretch of unfortunate weather coming this way, as well.
