An absolutely glorious day today; unseasonably warm in bright sunshine, with little wind.  It's going to be even warmer tomororrow - bloomin' marvellous (pun intended).

Not a cloud in the sky this morning, and quite warm unless you stray into the shade. Was that the longest winter ever, or is that just an age thing?

While the sunshine has of course been very welcome, there is still a chill in the air taking the edge of it.

The good news is that I'll be spending a fair bit of time in central and Greater London tomorrow, where it will almost certainly feel warmer than oop North.

22 degrees and rising up to 26 in a bit, full on sunshine. Summer is here, well at least for 1 day.

Ominous skies .. half an hour later there was a layer of hailstones turning to slush on the garden furniture

Awful today...cold from the outset, and often wet, to the extent this morning when I set off for work at 0830 it was 4 Celsius with an outbreak of sleet splattering my windscreen.

It's supposed to be mid twatting May.

Started off cloudy this morning but now the sun's coming out and it's warming up nicely as we head towards the weekend heatwave. Nice temp for doing a bit of external decorating.
