That's exactly what Bingley Hall used to be like in the old days, the arenas aren't so bad but they aren't proper gigs.

Absolutely. If they don't play in Arenas, tickets are under £100 and all the signs are that they can still do it.

under £100 might get you out in car park 4 somewhere...prices will be stupid money...

I remember standing in the SECC for the HYF tour. It was the days before they had the heavy curtains to try and sort out the sound to some extent. The acoustics were like having a biscuit tin taped to each side of your head and got so bad I had to tell myself "this is Rush!" Or I would just have left. Other people I met afterwards thought it wasn't as bad as my experience, so I can only assume I was in an area with very poor acoustic reflections. Fingers crossed I get the chance to hear them in the Hydro. Well, two of them anyway. It would be interesting see what Geddy actually does with his unleashed time. I hope his knees can withstand a few more bunny hops.

I have seen bnds play halls here in Holland that we during the weeks used for cattle trade. Not small bands either. Ridiculous if you think on that.

I once saw Extreme (at their peak) play the Rijnhal in Arnhem, and a week later I was in the same hall with 1200 others taking an exam.
Things have changed quite a bit here I have to say, there are plenty of indoor venues with decent capacity that have great acoustics and facilities now.

That's Bingley Hall, Stafford. Only been once - Rush on ESL tour. Absolute shite venue. Couldn't believe it, Rush playing a cowshed, Geddy wearing a boiler suit and the band introducing a song dominated by keyboards. Bad night.

"Fleece em dry" tour by the looks!

She must be a very expensive drummer

The cost of weed must've gone through the roof in recent years, especially in the posh parts of Toronto

Am I correct in seeing $300+ for a ticket? Are they insane?
I know ticket prices in the US are a bit higher than here, but $323 for the cheapest one?

I wonder how much in terms of %  will go to Peart estate.

Missed that one, I was in Hospital, but it was a great venue! Lovely smell, saw Rush there in '79, you could get badges with the Rush logo on with a picture of Cows in pens in the background :)

Then cad$417 for restricted view in the lower bowl

Then it's on to CAD$922 for the basic VIP package,
