I wonder which tunes they'll do? I suspect the more energetic / powerful tunes from their earlier years will not be happening. I certainly hope not, anyway. The more I think about this the less I like it really.

I like Rick and I tend to agree with him here, it's not the same but it's still exciting. I think having the 2 of them is enough to call it Rush.

Honestly for me, as much I love his drumming, Neil's primary contribution was always the lyrics, which are still there, and having Ged less tied to keyboards is a great idea (albeit possibly one born out of necessity given his age and the amount of work involved!).

I imagine it took a lot for Geddy to give up the keys and the mountain of pedals/triggers he's always used.  Common sense took over though I imagine.   I wonder if they will tone down the songs at all so that he won't have to strain his voice too much?

I think the last time I saw him (Adam) was on the Wakeman on Wakeman tour, crikey, back in the 1990's I think. Will be seeing them together next week in Liverpool  .

Just checked and Wakeman with Wakeman was 1992! I might still have the programme but no idea where.

Surely he'd be bored rigid? Unless they change the arrangements considerably, I'd doubt it would be challenging enough for him to consider. Perhaps he could eat a three-course Indian during the set

Greatest hits thing no doubt. But what's interesting is that they say they can mix things up depending on the night. Sounds like a more loose approach than to what they used to do. They're not Pearl jam obviously, but they rehearsed 35 songs, so a set of 22-24 songs, and they can vary.
I am not oppposed the idea to be honest. They (Alex and Geddy) were mostly bound to Neil's constraints in the end. (and yes, the voice thing).
