I'll probably stay local and only do the Manc gig. Arena though - eww, needs must I suppose. My son and his wife will want to go too - Big Money  ;D

Think I will do 1 date In London, don't need to see them multiple times again.

I hope this doesn't end up feeling like I'm being charged by a family member for a lift to the shops.

The Picnic Wasp

How could I have realised as I stood watching them as a young man, barely shaving, that I might see them (well, two of them) again, 53 weeks into my state pension days.

God willing!

Slim

As a sixteen year old, standing there in Newcastle City Hall watching them tear through Best I Can, would I have been horrified to think that they, or two of them, would be touring fifty years later? Yes. And that's before you consider that they're going to charge about eight or nine times more in real terms for the ticket.

The Co-op arena is actually a great venue but it's in a bit of a ball-acher location, especially considering the AO Arena is up a flight of steps from the platforms at Manc Vic.

True, but I'd likely drive anyway - plenty of parking round there.

They used to say there would be no Rush without Neil. If he had lived to enjoy his well deserved retirement, would the two of them have done this?

Thenop

They might, with his blessing. But we'll never know.
The result would be the same though.

Fishy

I think they pretty much are defunct.. now a keyboard player and a new drummer.. yes they're cranking out Rush tunes but it ain't Rush.. ill be giving any UK dates a wide berth.. better things to spend my cash on

It is going to be expensive. Will try for London but it might be cheaper to head to Europe.
There is a big gap after the UK dates, maybe extra dates will be announced after these have sold out.
