I think the "open the box" line comes from Take Your Pick, hosted by Michael Miles. I can only remember a theme tune song line from Double Your Money, "and try to get rich". Mists might start to clear about that one.

Edit: Looked it up. Double Your Money was hosted by Hughie Green. Unbearable!

Astonishing when Hughie turned out to be Paula Yates' dad. She was certain he wasn't and considered the idea ridiculous.

Remember that biopic from about 15 years ago in which Trevor Eve played Hughie? I thought it was pretty good. I especially liked the scene in which Hughie is seen tonking a young lady in his dressing room. But I thought Trevor Eve was miscast there. Quite a bulky, imposing and charismatic bloke, which Hughie definitely wasn't. But he did get the voice right.
