Spent the weekend on and off with my grand daughter trying to solve this.. it's a bit of bastard.. never tried it when it really took off years and years ago.. plenty of YouTube videos..  anyone else ever cracked it?

I remember I had to buy the book, but if you gave it to me today I wouldn't have a clue

My brother had one in about 1978 and he used to be able to do it in less than a minute - there's a method of course, although I never learned it. Actually I think I'll order one off Amazon for a bit of fun.

Oh there's an online version here and it's quite intuitive to use.
