I'm not yet extremely old and senile, but I don't have a clue what my car reg no. is. Not driven it for about 18 months either.

For myself, I think that anyone with a so called "personalised" plate should be lined up against the wall and shot. I don't care if it has your initials on it, I couldn't care less it refers to your favourite beat combo or football team. It's just a bit of small minded vanity. You know who you are, you know what you like. I couldn't give a shit.

There's a special circle of Hell reserved for those who manipulate their plates with "randomly" placed scres and artful squiggles. Do these people have spare plates for when they have their vehicles MOTed?

And why the hell do the police ignore this fragrant violation of the rules. These people are also avoiding being nicked for speeding and other motoring offences.

Obviously I didn't mean this is a pleasant-smelling breach of regulations
