just listening to Hand Cannot Erase.  Is First Regret/3 years older a nod to Rush as one of his influences or a blatant rip off?

Great album, I would say it was a nod towards them on that track.

Ah Yes, up here locally as well.

So, 2 songs, but actually 14 then. Very SW.

Nick

Ordered blu-ray plus a t shirt. Looking forward to this.

I'm not pre-ordering this time. The last 2 SW albums and PT C/C (vinyl) dropped a lot in price after that initial rush. I'll make do with a digital album initially.

A review - 8.8/10 (excellent) - ".....somewhere between The Sky Moves Sideways and The Incident":

hahaha, that's the entire PT catalogue then.

Thenop

Heard the entire thing. Much more mellow than I anticipated. That sonic perspectives site must have heard a different album. It's a mix of all his solo work, and maybe early PT. But latter day PT, that intensity is not there.

Need to hear it more of course but first impression is good.

I've a digital copy but I'll await the Blu Ray/Vinyl before a full listen.

That was my plan as well. LP has shipped with DH'f*ckin'L, so fat chance it'll actually be here tomorrow.

Your digital copy will sound better than the vinyl but if you really prefer it that way, notch the treble down a bit and throw a blanket over your speakers.
