There's now a blue version of the redoubtable Casio A158. First new watch of the year, I've done pretty well to hold out to the middle of March.

I really like that, it's almost too vintage to be called vintage.

Just in, a lightly dinged second hand Seiko SUS. Always fancied one of these, just my sort of thing - no date, small, simple. Delightful. I thought I'd be taking the strap off straightaway but actually this one does suit it quite nicely. Also - I think my wrist hair needs a trim.

I bought this 40 years ago today, so I've just been outside to take an anniversary photo. I purchased it from a jeweller's in Eldon Square, Newcastle, on July 9th 1986 for £698. My 26th birthday. My grandmother had died and left me some money. I'd always fancied a GMT Master.

This one is rare in one respect - the dial has the text OYSTER PERPETUAL rather than OYSTER PERPETUAL DATE. One of the very early gloss / white gold hour marker dials. A transitional feature.

There was a time I wore it every day, it doesn't get a run out often now.

That looks mint. I suppose the Pepsi Rolex in mint condition from around that time is easily worth 10k, probably more.
Still have the case and all?

Slim

Yep still have the internal and external box and the booklets. Don't have the receipt unfortunately.
