Another new low for the BBC as producers of Question Time felt it appropriate to include a couple of illegal immigrants in the audience tonight to put questions to the panel.

In what appeared to be an ambush of Reform UK's Zia Yusuf, one of them was given a platform to lecture the British public on why the UK should not leave the ECHR (read from a script, btw) and gave Fiona Bruce the opportunity to ask Yusuf whether he would deport the gentleman in question.

Apparently this guy has had an asylum claim rejected six times in other countries before finally being granted asylum in the UK.

Is there no level to which  the BBC will stoop to stop Reform? Despicable behaviour by a publicly-funded broadcaster.

Fiona Bruce renders QT unwatchable right off the bat nowadays; a member of the audience gets to ask one question and off the back of it she asks at least a dozen of her own, often in groups of three or four after rudely interrupting a panel member in full flow.

My point was leaning more towards would a community which is based on liberated thinking be for or against genocide and those committing it?

I think their community is based on their sexuality, not liberated thinking. No amount of cerebral liberation would transform me into a homosexual.

Oh well, I suppose I'll have to content myself with the knowledge that at least I know what I mean.

However, would you consider that perhaps the gay community, in general, would have an interest in all people being treated fairly? Or, do they say they've been accepted now for the most part, so everyone else can look after themselves. As I say, I'm probably not expressing myself too well. I've been struggling with this for a few days now. I hope it's a passing phase and not things catching up.

The Express admits that 

His actual remark was "Let's put her with a rifle standing there with nine barrels shooting at her face. OK? Let's see how she feels about it." 

The BBC presenter said that

He [Trump] is out there on the campaign trail saying he wants people to shoot Liz Cheney in the face.

So in this case at least, they can't help telling the truth.

Finding it hard to muster any outrage over the Scott Mills news. The matter was investigated and no charges were brought. Unless there's a different incident we don't know about, he's entitled to the presumption of innocence, isn't he?

It's not about whether he committed a crime, it's whether he's brought his employer into disrepute. They've concluded he has. That's their decision to make.
