Remco! He did it uphill.
Pogi could have probably taken him, them again then he should have. And he didn't.

So Remco in 2nd place.

I liked the spirit Quinn Simmons showed, he will have his day in the sun soon.

Pidcock tried but also, again too lightweight.

Pogi in Domestique mode today, didn't work. Del Toro fell away and Remco got it. Think Pogi could still have got it of he tried though.

Pidders gave it a go again, but he's trying to do too much.

Pogi was in a charitable mood to give Remco his first TdF stage win, deffo could have won it.

Pity for Vindegaard. What a stage though!

A well deserved rest day awaits!

Yes, poor Jonas. Very difficult to see exactly why he went down.

Looks like he caught the gravel on the roundabout exit.  Pogacar said the loss of concentration that caused it was down to his early morning wake-up call for the dopage test

If you read the BBC Cycling page it implies spectators were involved

Their standard of reporting is shite, but they are institutionally anti-cyclist.

TNT Sports were saying that it's when they're acting on suspicions or tip-offs. Or ASO just want to disrupt the plans of people ahead of Sexass.

No that was purely an ITA call. More justification for from the head of EF - Education EasyPost (he was a former teammate to Lance Armstrong back in the day)

"Two am testing is one of the very effective ways to prevent peptide (EPO, HGH) and testosterone micro dosing. If [the] UCI had tested us in 2001 at 2am? We'd all have been suspended and saved the sport 25 years of drama"

Tits. Bruno Armirail has pipped Josh Tarling in the TT.

Tarling was annoyed he'd not gone out hard enough. Paid for it now Welsh boy. Still, under six weeks since her broke his collarbone.

Thymen Arensman, what a twerp, missed his start time, he'd have been quickest!

Remco's aero skin gets him another TT win.

Nasty crash puts Lipowitz out of the race, Pogi very nearly went out on the same corner.

Yes well, Sean Kelly thought del Toro might have left too much on the road on Sunday.

Good TT from Pidcock, came in 12th in his least favourite discipline, got some time back on Sticky Martinez.

Aa expected Remco takes it, and not much change apart from Ayuso who will have a tough last week.

Shame Lipowitz crashed out, I like him.

That's 2nd and 3rd from last year gone. Keep it rubber side down Pogi.

He slipped in the same corner Lipowitz did, just managed to stay upright.

Wrong Jasper won that. I was hoping Jasper Stuyven could keep away on his solo break, but MvdP got Jasper the Disaster back to win it.

Would have benefitted Pedersen in the Green Jersey competition if Stuyven could have stayed away. Pedersen did well to get away and get the maximum in the intermediate sprint.

Good result for Lewis Askey in 4th.

Adam Yates really suffered today with a stomach upset, hope it doesn't go through the UAE team.
