Delighted for Seixas - did so well to catch Vindegaard on the final climb. Just enough of a gap to pinch white off Ayuso.

Seixas looked strong, well done. And Pogacar, he didn't seem too pleased with his team. Rightfully so, they bowed out way too early.
I was impressed though how Vingegaard did all the heavy lifting in catching ol' Richie.
Remco was good today, he kenw when to drop off and adjust his pace, just to bring it back in the descent. Very mature riding.

I did feel for Arensman, his puncture cost him just too much and he couldn't make it back. He literally said to the car, but he needed to change bikes in the middle of a climb while ahead. Shame.

Yep, we have Tom Dumoulin as commentator. It has been going on for years, but in his days it was between 6 and 7 AM. Especially when being at the top of the ranking he was visited each day..
Sleeping in was never an option.
