Pidcock was great today, MvdP crashed too hard apparently, the injuries clearly bothered him.

And yes Pogi was unbeatable, again.

Just caught up with the women's MSR.

Victory for Lotte Kopecky, but gutted for Puck who came in fourth.
Pluckiest Brits Pfeiffer Georgi and Cat Ferguson who came in 11th and 12th.

Nasty crash for Debora Silvestri. Just a few broken ribs and shoulder though

Dylan Groenewegen made it two wins in three days today at the Grote Prijs Jean-Pierre Monseré, perfectly times sprint to pip the breakaway.

On to the Volta Ciclista a Catalunya today. First stage was won by Klute Godon, just pipping Remco on the line.
Tom Pidcock came in third after his Milano-San Remo efforts.

Klute actually gave a post race interview in English. Not heard that from him before.

Magnus Cort won the 'tache battle today in Catalunya. Klute came in fourth, but retains the GC lead.
Liam Slock from the breakaway just got caught at the flamme rouge.

Wow, Catalunya was fun!
Bora took to the front in a crosswind section, Remco then took off, Lizard Lips took off after him and they built up a lead, Remco wanted Vingegaard to take a turn, got narked, then when Vingegaard realised they were building a lead he started to help, then closer to the end Vingegaard started sitting up. Remco got the red mists again and took off, Vingegaard went with him again. Then with the peleton approaching Remco fell off at the final roundabout.

Peleton comes by and Dorian Godon picks up his second stage win, plucky Brits Ethan Vernon and Noah Hobbs second and third.

I could hear the sounds of Bora team bus windows being smashed from here!

Finally a bloke without a Rat Tache wins a stage in Catalunya. PLucky Brit Ethan Vernon took the honours. Klute Godon in second, Tom Pidock third. Pidcock picked up enough bonus seconds to move to second overall on GC

Good win for Carys Lloyd in the Ronde van Brugge today. Nineteen years old and beating Lorena Wiebes!

A Threepeat for MvdP in the E3 Saxo Classic.

Escaped the Peleton with 70km to go, took the lead with 40km to go. Then at the Flamme Rouge just as a chasing group were about to catch him he sat up, the chasing thought he'd given up, they sat up and off he went again. I said to Mrs S he was playing games with them and for once I was right

Finally caught up with the Volta Catalunya.

That's another victory for Lizard Lips then.

Bloody Sticky Martine up to third.

Remco drops to 6th, could have been worse, could have dropped into a ravine like Tom "Ace Descender" Pidcock. The TV commentary never even noticed Pidcock had disappeared. I could see he'd disappeared from the Peleton, but I don't think TV coverage caught it as there were multiple crashes on the descent.
