Celebrity Masterchef. Really enjoy this. It's hard not to invest in the fortunes of these (sometimes hapless) amateur cooks.
Not yet fully convinced by Grace Dent as the new judge though.

Mammoth (ep.1, ser.2).

I can't recommend this, I'm afraid. Mike Bubbins plays the character very well and the '70s nostalgia is mildly entertaining but the writing is poor with very few laughs. Perhaps it's something to do with having to 'pussyfoot' around the aspects of that era that are now considered so unpalatable in this PC age. Given the scenario, this should be far funnier than it is. Unfortunately, Bubbins is a million miles away from the genius of John Sullivan or Roy Clarke.

I have set the PVR for 'series record' but I don't think I'll bother.

I thought the first series of Mammoth was great, but the first episode of the second series was a bit thin. That said - I did like it; it's still a worthwhile investment of 30 minutes and funnier than most recent sitcoms.

In terms of current sitcoms I'm enjoying Alan Carr's Changing Ends and Leonard and Hungry Paul, while not exactly a sitcom, more a gentle, uplifting drama, is well worth a watch

Finished off All her fault and continuing with Down Cemetery Road

Snooker - UK Championship Final. Judd Trump v Mark Selby. From a commanding 7-2 lead for Selby, Trump has clawed his way back to 7-8 (best of 19 frames)
This game can really entertain!

Finished The Last Frontier on Sunday night. Excellent throughout, and highly recommended.

6 episodes into The Beast in Me - it's good

Watched the 1st episode of The War Between The Land And The Sea.

More interesting so far than the latest Doctor Who. I'll stick with it.

The death of Bunny Monroe - super stuff from Matt Smith based on the Nick Cave book. Not for the Mary Whitehouse types.

Definitely hit its stride tonight -a few laaugh-out-loud moments. Best thing on the telly right now.
