I played Future Shock a few days ago and although I never really warmed to that one and thought it not as good as Glory Road, it's a pretty strong effort it has to be said. There are a couple of great tunes on there including No Laughing In Heaven and New Orleans.
I really loved some of the 'Gillan' stuff but I think my favourite will always be Mr Universe, not a bad track on it IMHO. How can you top Second Sight into Secret Of The Dance?
And what a brilliant live act they were when Bernie was with them. Gillan himself strode around the stage like a colossus and still had that fantastic scream on him. The rest of the band were bloody good too!
