I came across this on YouTube the other day and - wow! I'd never seen any footage of Gamma but this is fantastic. Davey Pattison has such a great voice (as I was watching it, I couldn't help thinking how much he reminds me of Bon Scott or Brian Johnson in the way he moves on stage. He would've been great for AC/DC IMHO).
I'd have loved to have seen them live, based on this performance. Four Horsemen was the song that got me into Gamma (I think I heard it on a radio show).Unfortunately it's not featured. However, includes a great performance of Voyager.
Ronnie was such a great player. Enjoy!

Wacching the news last night I have to say I was surprised to be reminded by the number of hits he had. A talented man who didn't seem to get the credit he deserved. Didn't seem to crave attention the way so many in the industry demand it.

I remember back in the early 80s and 6 of us blokes went to Ibiza for a lads holiday. One of the guys brought his boogie box and 2 albums - both were Chris Rea. We ended up listening to those albums for the whole 2 weeks and of course any time I hear anything by him I'm straight back to San Antonio. A lovely singer and sad to see him pass - RIP.

And I've not long since listened to his Dobly [sic] Atmos mix of Yes' Close to the Edge. and I was feeling close to the edge after wrapping Mrs S's presents. She can do her own next year.
