I couldn't pass up Andertons Easter sale offer on this guitar. £799 including a hard case. I think it was around £1299 when first released with some stores now only slightly cheaper than that.

It's a lovely guitar, well put together and sounds great. I like the idea that I now have Geddy and Alex signature models. I've always been more of a collector than any great shakes as a player, but it makes me happy.

However, Floyd Rose, never again. What an absolute faff. I rarely if ever take an Allen key to any guitar I own but I've a feeling I'm going to be using them on a fairly regular basis from now on.

Next purchase is definitely a Telecaster, preferably with locking tuners. Bomb proof!
