Absolutely terrific performance from USA in a first half battering of Paraguay; I was convinced I'd fall asleep given the time of night but they've kept me well awake with a thoroughly entertaining performance full of slick, impressive and attractive football.

Pulisic has been scintillating, certainly better than any current Chelsea player and arguably better than anything England have in their ranks at the moment.

Not specifically, I'd been out seeing Madness at the Piece Hall, had a few jars afterwards and by the time I got home it was 1:30. Thought I might as well start watching the match and was glad I did.
