Ive heard a couple of recent interviews with Lee/Lifeson mentioning they have about 40 songs good to go and they'll be rotating setlists.. so aside from the regular stuff like Tom Sawyer Limelight YYZ SoR LVS some of 2112 CTTH  etc etc that leaves a bit of room for some others which again they've mentioned will be either not played/rarely played live songs.. so for a bit of fun what dy reckon they will be.. ?

The Picnic Wasp

I think I'm going doolally.

The Picnic Wasp

I think I'm going to be much wealthier.

That song about a black hole where all our money disappears into

Anyway, I think they want to play new stuff as well. They have expressed a fondness of CA so I expect some of that album to be there.

Also: I am going to take a a guess they will do a cover, or 2 or 3 and alternate those. With ol'Clunky no longer behind the kit they might actually swing or get a groove going.,

Ahhhh, the song puns...a reminder of another era.

There'll be the lyric parodies next...  ::)

I must have been feeling quite cynical about the band when I penned this a few years ago, loosely based on Limelight. Don't know what the candle reference is all about. Probably inebriated.

Twilight

Reaching this unlikely age
It does seem quite unreal
With grumpy old git Neil
And Alex limping awkwardly
Towards his final wage
Candles burn a great big hole
In Danniels' cheques and BACS
We pay sufficient tax
To buy a big annuity
And say goodbye by fax
Playing in our twilight
Our money raking scheme
A scammer's perfect dream
Geddy used to scream
But now he mumbles weird narrations
Ticketmaster reservations
The real elation
The undercover theme
Thriving on our fans' past tense
We'll fleece you 'til you die
With caviar not pie
Champagne toasts and private jets
The odd Mercedes Benz
All the world's indeed a stage
Unless you live in Britain
Cos Neil would have a kitten
If asked to play another gig
Unless it's Glastonbury
