Anyone else here a fan ?

I really like Airbag, a heavily Pink Floyd influenced Norwegian band who manage to sound pretty original despite this;  Bjorn can't help but be very David Gilmoresque at times though with his guitar work .

As a solo artist though he plugs into some of his other influences - Kiss, Deep Purple and Black Sabbath

He really can be quite the rocker, but likes to mix it up.

He sings his own stuff when solo give "Forever Comes to an End" one of my favourites by him a chance and I'd really recommend "Getaway", an instrumental, if you want to get a feel for what Bjorn is all about.

Tried it couple of years ago, but no. Not for me. Not enough energy.

Well it's all a matter of taste. And both of you have got none!

Could be worse. I could have liked Dream Theater. But I don't.

How's that for taste?

I think there are two decent Dream Theater albums. But it's mainly schlock.

Liked Pull Me Under, never really felt the need to explore further

The Picnic Wasp

Yet again, someone I'd never heard of, so had a quick listen on YouTube. I quite enjoyed that brief taster and must investigate further. Thanks, Dom.

I've listened to a couple of Airbag albums (the latest 2) and quite liked what I heard, but not really gone much further than that. As for Bjorn Riis's solo work I've not played anything yet. I'll certainly give him a spin after these recommendations; more Airbag too.
