Not sure if this is cause for optimism or pessimism for a transatlantic visit...

Might make them feel a bit more altruistic about it if they make such a bundle in the US. I'm sure they could make it break even over here at least. I have my doubts however, now that they've got used to marketing everything that's not nailed down.

Watching that new dates announcement video from Geddy and Alex, was Geddy's voice slightly shaky on occasion or is it my imagination? I wouldn't imagine he'd ever be nervous in front of a camera.

It just depends how much more money they think they need / how big a payday they'd get from whoever underwrites the tour (if that's how it's structured, as I think is likely).

You would be a bit annoyed if you bought tickets/transport and hotel for one of the original dates only to find they are now playing in your city.

That's probably about $25 million each already. I look at it differently - there must be a maximum amount of shows they feel they can (or want, or need) to do and if they do that without crossing the Atlantic, they will.
