Weird email from Tailscale

As a Tailscale user I am subscribed to their newsletter and received the following email from them a couple of days ago. I tried to research what's going on but the reddit subs have been locked and removed. What I did find out was it's because of JK Rowlling's anti-trans stance. I really think that TS have to have a long hard look at themselves if this is what's it's come to, and why even send this email to ALL TS users anyway, it makes them look ridiculous. Remember what TS is too, just a great networking tool:

Yesterday, we sent an email promoting an event we're sponsoring that included a viewing of a Harry Potter movie. We recognize that this choice was harmful and did not reflect the care and consideration our community deserves. We take full responsibility for not evaluating the impact of this sponsorship decision more thoughtfully. We've spoken with our partners at Endor Labs and together decided to replace the movie with Ghostbusters (1984).
