RIP Harold "Dickie" Bird

Legendary Cricket umpire Dickie Bird's innings came to a close today at 92.

Farewell and thanks Dickie.

Even if you did ruin a day at Queen's Park Chesterfield, forever coming out and then telling us that one bit of the outfield was still a bit too damp from the previous day's rain.

I also remember when the Tour de France finished in Sheffield, after the race you were being interviewed for TV and Blel Kadri who'd won the most attacking rider of the day award rode by and said "Bonjour Monsieur" to you. Doubt he knew who you were!
