Well you see - it's truth versus very silly and unfortunately rather harmful bollocks. You don't get to have ideas insulated from reason because you have faith in them. Actually the fact that you need "faith" to support them is the best indication that you're wrong.

All religions are both untrue and harmful.

We just can't afford to give a pass to extravagantly stupid and categorically false ideas because people hold them dearly, otherwise they will never be eradicated. And they can be eradicated eventually, I do believe that.

I wonder who'll be quoting BR's stuff in 3970. The stuff that went down well with the Chinese in the 1920s probably won't sit too well with their politics today. Unless the Chinese decide on English as a future internationally accepted language, I would imagine he'll disappear from the "shelves" along with any religious works. A totalitarian world without religion and whatever else the empire decides to ban. Sounds just lovely.
