Not a holiday as such but thought this might be a good thread for travel advice. I did the usual Google walkthrough but Glasgow to Evenley does not appear to be a simple exercise by public transport. Any combination of flights, trains, buses and taxis looks quite complicated. Hiring a car is out unfortunately so hoping a bit of local knowledge might turn up something I've missed.
