I don't admit to understanding the ludicrous complexity of the rules but why can England not see out a few minutes without conceding a penalty?

It happens to the best - look what happened at Twickenham last weekend!

Pleased that France scraped over the line to be runners up to deserved winners Ireland.  Strong argument though that Scotland were the 2nd best team in the tournament

We (Scotland) have dropped away in every second half during the six nations  except yesterday against Ireland . Had we kept up the momentum in the earlier games ,  we could have done a lot better during this championship

It's life.

Like England's creekiters can't bowl out tailenders.

That was a strange last penalty for France at the end. No replays shown either. A 'no arms' tackle, something that happens constantly without a penalty (and there were a lot in this game). I'd say it was a 50/50 game in the end.
"Oh, for the wings of any bird other than a Battery hen."

England doing what England do best: losing when they should be winning. They were all over Ireland in the first half, then everything went to pot.

Wtf - Advertising shown in-game during the France v Ireland game tonight on ITV. Oh dear, the slide to US style TV has begun.

What a match. What a brilliant 6 nations tournament. England were magnificent tonight and so unlucky not to beat this wonderful French tea.

International rugby is arguably the greatest sport. The non stop intensity, the bravery, skill, speed and strength. I don't think anything matches it

The risk factor for brain injury is very high also - thrilling.....unless you're involved, of course  :-\

This is true, they put their bodies on the block. Same is true with many sorts though, cycling, boxing, even footbal
