Maybe the best live album ever?

Bonkers Bombast. Too much for Humanity to absorb. I've got a headache.
Only the Orchestral, Live and Atmos versions to go. I might wait a couple of days.

new Mastodon single - this can only mean one thing: new album incoming. Sans Brent Hinds, who sadly passed late year. With Hinds being mostly the 'weird' one out I was wondering whether they'd pull of anything interesting.
They did, clearly an inspired lyrics on Hinds demise:

With your fists clenched tight
You can feel your blood begin to boil
When the world went black and
To them you seemed invisible
Close your eyes

And on their relationship when it ended (Hinds left the band months prior to his passing):

All my gifts from you
Take thеm back where you must go
All I ever wanted you to say to me
Is that you're both safe and sound
Sickening watching you scrape and claw
Hoping for helping hands
Watching the time run down

To culminate in the chorus:

I saw your ghost again
Visions of a future
Non-existent
I saw your ghost again
Followed by crushing
Feelings of regret

An extremely powerful song and statement.
And how about that phenomenal prog interlude at 3:30? Holy sh!t, this is the stuff Brent would have approved of for sure. Worth a listen! It' ll only cost your four and a half minute.

Clearly a busy afternoon.. new Europe single.
Always liked them despite the obvious flaws, the übercheesy keys are a bit much, but also fun.
New track sounds like the 80s never went away which is a lot of fun. The video is filled with Swedes everyone in Sweden knows for sure, and some we know as well. Lovely.

Well, thank goodness for the credits. A couple of ageing faces I half recognised. Very catchy song though.

Wot, no Ulrika?
