Saw them for the first time on Wednesday without hearing a note previously. Thought they were excellent, this was their first visit to Liverpool

Jazz Dispensary & Fords Gin Present: The Negroni Sessions
The Jazz Dispensary titles are quite good, some more than others. Basically an album series of selected tracks to suit a certain mood (or vibe as it nowadays called). Can be listened to purposely and in the background. This one is quite nice and relaxed with the likes of Bernard Purdie and Dizzy Gillespie there's nothing not to be liked.

As it's no.1 in the PA 2024 album of the year I gave this a bash. Lots of styles going on - Krautrock, Djenty at times, Zappa, Cardiacs, Bjork - just weird really, but ever so catchy too in an odd way:
