That involves a painful process. Surely a short cut is more likely to reap the benefits faster for those not inclined to put the long slog work in?

Regulator (MHRA) say it is unknown whether weight-loss jabs cause harm to unborn babies. They warn jabs should not be used during pregnancy, whilst trying to get pregnant or whilst breast feedind.

Dr Alison Cave, chief safety officer at the MHRA, said there was evidence from animal studies "that these medicines may harm the unborn baby".
"But we don't know whether we have the same effects in humans, so much more data is needed to determine that."
Women of child-bearing age are usually not included in clinical trials, which is why there is a lack of safety information for them.
"If you are taking this medicine and you are pregnant, you should talk to your doctor about stopping the medicine as soon as possible," Dr Cave said.

Clinical trials of puberty blockers for children halted after new concerns from the regulator.

Interested to see this, but I did a bit of digging - the puberty blocking drugs were developed (and licenced) for conditions that have nothing to do with gender dysphoria, like premature puberty, hormone-sensitive cancers and endometriosis. Wasn't the pharmaceutical companies' idea to use them on trans kids. It's a practice that originated among clinicians in the Netherlands apparently.
