That last time I paid for electricity to charge my Q4 was the end of November to get me to Oswestry and back. It cost me about £5. Since then I haven't paid a penny to charge the car, making use of the free 4 hours of electricity I get from EDF on Sunday mornings. Even having to charge from 0000-0500 costs me less than £7 full a full charge. For me, at this time, it's an absolute no brainer having an electric car.

EDF have extended my EV Tariff by 2 hours. It was 0000-0500 and now it's 2300-0600. I actually had to use the tariff hours earlier in the week as I didn't get any free on the Sunday. It cost £3.38 to go from 35% to 88% charge. In doing so it's classed as off-peak use; so much so, that it will give me 16 hours free electricity to use a week on Sunday. It's crazy how cheap it is to run an electric car.
