Just reading Dave's Wikipedia entry. He'd been in Fleetwood Mac for a year five years earlier.

I suppose someone with a more powerful voice would have suited Sabbath better (like Ronnie James Dio did) but Tony Iommi had his roots in the Blues despite inventing Heavy Metal.
